Daniel Častvaj has become the new Director of Communications in the ENERGETICKÝ A PRŮMYSLOVÝ HOLDING (EPH) Group and its EP ENERGY subsidiary; Daniel Častvaj will also work as the spokesman for both companies.

Daniel Častvaj has many years of experience in corporate communications. In his earlier positions, he also used this experience in the Czech energy sector.

Daniel Častvaj taking over as Director of Communications implies a significant enhancement of the EPH Group’s communication activities in the context of its major acquisition plans.

Daniel Častvaj will be responsible for the crucial communication segment, i.e., media relations, and also for some related areas, including marketing communication.

Daniel Častvaj (1974) started his career as a TV Nova reporter in 1994; he later also worked as a presenter on Czech Television and on Z1, a news television station. In the area of communications, he held the position of the spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Trade and for the Ministry of Finance. He also headed the communication department of ČEZ and, in addition, the Municipality of Prague.

Tomáš Miřacký, who has been put in charge of communications in Investor Relations, will also help to promote EPH’s communications. He is mainly responsible for EP ENERGY’s financial reporting to investors and for investor relations.

Tomáš Miřacký joined EPH in November 2012, taking the position of group financing manager. Prior to moving to EPH he worked in senior positions at ABN AMRO Bank and at RBS from 2004.
