ENERGETICKÝ A PRŮMYSLOVÝ HOLDING is not authorised to comment on whether it has participated in, or has submitted a tender in the bidding competition for, the privatisation of ENEA. Nevertheless, we are able to disclose that we are not participating in this process at present.
At the same time we consider it to be necessary to emphatically protest against the media's speculations concerning the ability of ENERGETICKÝ A PRŮMYSLOVÝ HOLDING to finance its acquisition activities and, specifically, the claims that ENERGETICKÝ A PRŮMYSLOVÝ HOLDING has been excluded from a tendering procedure due to its failure to prove its ability to finance the acquisition.
These are completely untrue and purely self-serving claims, and as such it cannot be ruled out that they were intentionally spread to damage ENERGETICKÝ A PRŮMYSLOVÝ HOLDING. In the event of a further recurrence of the publication of such speculations we are ready to consider the relevant legal steps that would stop such activities.
