Slovenské elektrárne Commission the Largest Battery Energy Storage System in Slovakia

Slovenské elektrárne, in which Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH) holds a 66% stake through Slovak Power Holding, have commissioned the largest battery energy storage system (BESS) in Slovakia. Located at the site of the former Nováky coal-fired power plant, the new facility has an installed power output of 36 MW and an energy storage capacity of 72 MWh. It represents a significant milestone in the transformation of the country's energy sector and strengthens the power system's ability to accommodate the growing share of renewable energy sources.

EPH completes the acquisition of Enel’s stake in Slovenské elektrárne

Energetický a průmyslový holding, a.s. (“EPH”) announces that it has successfully completed the acquisition of an additional 50% stake in Slovak Power Holding B.V. (“SPH”) from Enel Produzione S.p.A. (“Enel Produzione”). As a result, EPH now owns a 100% stake in SPH, which in turn owns a 66% majority stake in Slovenské elektrárne, a.s. (“Slovenské elektrárne”), Slovakia’s largest electricity producer.
