Construction of a plant for the torrefaction (soft pyrolysis) of wood chips in the Schwarze Pumpe industrial park

ID: / 34829

Předmět a popis VŘ:
Lausitz Energie Bergbau is planning the construction of a plant for the torrefaction (gentle pyrolysis) of wood chips in the Schwarze Pumpe Industrial Park (30 kilometers south of the city of Cottbus, Brandenburg, Germany).
The biochar resulting from this process is to be marketed in the form of torrefied wood dust, pellets and briquettes.

The torrefaction plant is planned with the following technical boundary conditions:
 Production capacity approx. 100,000 tonnes per year (end product)
 Co-utilisation of the existing rail-bound coal delivery system and the storage bunker for the provision of raw materials (wood chips) for the plant
 Conveyor systems between the individual plant components
 Plant system for classification and intermediate storage of the wood chips with integrated foreign particle separation
 Plant system for pre-drying the wood chips
 Several (probably 2 to 4) identical reactor lines for the torrefaction process
 Post-combustion system for the synthesis gas produced during torrefaction
 Waste heat utilisation for the torrefaction process, pre-drying and for external heat extraction
 Systems for cooling the torrefied product
 Flue gas cleaning systems and waste gas removal
 Dismantling of existing facilities (e.g. foundations, channels) in the subsoil
 Systems for grinding (optional: pressing / moulding)
 High degree of automation; operation and monitoring of the required control and automation systems from a central control room
 Data exchange with the existing finishing plant

The client intends to award the contract to an EPC contractor, but reserves the right to award subsystems in lots.
Interested parties are requested to get in touch with the specified contact person and will subsequently receive access to further information via the client's tendering platform.
